Raffles University retains overall responsibility for the quality assurance of RU validated programmes and the programmes of Raffles College of Design and Commerce and University of Wales. In addition, RU has a number of third party university validated degree programmes where the quality assurance is facilitated by RU in collaboration with our third party partners. As such the underlying principles for quality assurance at Raffles University is as follows:

1. the QA process is capable of assuring internal and external individuals, institutions and stakeholders that academic standards are comparable with those of other major international universities;
2. the primary emphasis of quality assurance systems is to enhance the quality of the student experience and learning outcomes;
3. Raffles University is very clear that the responsibility for following agreed processes and delivering high quality outcomes lies with each member of the University;
4. that external academic peer review is a fundamental feature of the quality assurance system.The RU quality assurance system is overseen by the RU senior team which includes the Senior Vice President, Vice President, Academic Services and Registrar, the discipline Vice President, the Deans of Disciplines and the Assistant Registrar.

• Oversight of the programmes
• Quality of the academic programmes
• Monitoring operations
• Monitoring all students admitted to the programme in accordance with the programme regulations
• Monitoring enrolment and induction processes
• Appointing and liaising with external examiners
• Monitoring marketing and publicity
• Notifying the discipline RU Vice President of any changes to the content, delivery or assessment of any of the modules
