Raffles University Systems retains overall responsibility in REC for the quality assurance of the programs of Raffles College of Design and Commerce and University of Wales. In addition, RUS has a number of third party university validated degree programmes where the quality assurance is facilitated by RUS in collaboration with our third party partners. The underlying principles for quality assurance at Raffles University Systems is as follows:

1. the QA process is capable of assuring internal and external individuals, institutions and stakeholders that academic standards are comparable with those of other major international universities;
2. the primary emphasis of quality assurance systems is to enhance the quality of the student experience and learning outcomes;
3. Raffles University Systems is very clear that the responsibility for following agreed processes and delivering high quality outcomes lies with each member of the University;
4. that external academic peer review is a fundamental feature of the quality assurance system.The RUS quality assurance system is overseen by the RUS senior team which includes the President, Vice Presidents and Registrar, the Deans of Disciplines and the Assistant Registrar.
