BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (HONS) IN BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE

Type of programme:
The BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science is available as a top up 1-year programme.

Academic Calendar:
Term 1          January – March
Term 2          April – June
Term 3          July – September
Term 4          October - December

There are 4 terms in each year.

Admission criteria:
Holders of REC Advanced Diploma in Biomedical Science with an average of C (60%-69%) or
local polytechnic its equivalent
▪ IELTS overall score of 6.0 or higher or TOEFL 550 on the paper-based test and TOEFL 230 on the
computer-based test

Candidates who do not meet the requirements may be admitted at the discretion of BSc Biomedical Science Admissions Committee. They may be required to take relevant diploma modules at Raffles School of Biomedical Science to attain the equivalent entry standard.

All applications will be considered but final admission to the programme is subject to the committee’s decision and discretion.
